Your Agafay adventure starts with a comfortable 9:00 AM pick-up from your hotel/riad in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle. After meeting your knowledgeable driver/guide, we depart Marrakech, and as we head towards the southwest, the scenery quickly shifts from bustling city life to vast, arid plains.

Upon entering the Agafay region, we venture off-road, driving deep into the stone desert. We explore the stony, undulating terrain, taking time to visit traditional Berber villages where you can witness local life, including flocks of sheep and goats grazing.

One of the most memorable moments: mounting your camel for an approximately hour-long trek across the vast desert terrain. Following your ride, you will be welcomed into a traditional desert camp where you can relax and be served a complimentary glass of authentic Moroccan mint tea.

Enjoy a delicious, traditional three-course Moroccan lunch served under the shade of a cozy Bedouin-style tent. Your feast typically includes Tagine, fresh salads, and dessert, accompanied by mineral water, providing the perfect opportunity to soak up the tranquil desert atmosphere.

After lunch, we continue to the beautiful Lalla Takerkoust Lake, an oasis at the desert’s edge. The calm blue waters and greenery provide a stunning contrast to the dry desert, with the majestic Atlas Mountains providing a perfect, serene backdrop for relaxation and photography.
